Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their original research contributions, reviews, case studies, and theoretical perspectives to IJDSCAS through our online submission system.

The International Journal of Data Science and Applied Science is a blind peer-reviewed, and online published quarterly journal. IJDSAS publishes only original research papers that fall within the scope of the journal. Authors should submit the soft copy of the article according to the template of the journal through the Journal website submission system to the Editorial Office.

Paper Template:

Authors are required to submit manuscripts that have no plagiarism, proper citations and referencing, and original ideas through the submission system. The articles must be according to the template prepared by the Journal. Upon receipt of the paper, the journal will assign the paper to national and international reviewers and will notify acceptance or rejection to the authors through email.

The article should have novelty and carefully confirmed the proposed solution, performed experiments, and results. There are no constraints on the length of the article. Before submission of the article, authors are required to get the services of English language experts for proofreading.

Paper Formatting:

  1. The Journal publishes articles in English language only. Authors may use any English language style.
  2. Page Size A4
  3. All margins size is 1”
  4. There should be no line Spacing in the paragraphs.
  5. Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.
  6. Title of the article: font Times New Roman, Bold, Size 22, Alignment Center, Title Case style: capitalized the first letter of each word.
  7. Author Name: font Times and New Roman, Bold, Size 14, Alignment Center
  8. Affiliation: font Times and New Roman, Size 11, Alignment Center
  9. Abstract: font Times and New Roman, Italic, Size 10, Alignment Justify. The abstract should not exceed 300 words.
  10. Keywords: font Times and New Roman, Size 10, Alignment Justify, maximum 5 index terms, separated by a comma. These keywords should not the part of the title of the paper.
  11. Heading 1: Use Roman Numbering Style, Font size 10, Sentence Case, Alignment Centered, Paragraph Space Before 12 pt After 4 pt.
  12. Body Text:  Times and New Roman Font: 10 pt, Justified. Use one Tab before the start of each paragraph.  
  13. Heading 2: Use Alphabetic numbering, Font: 10 pt, Italic, Italic, Indent: Before:  0.1″, Left-to-right, Space before 6 pt, after 3 pt.
  14. Heading 3 and onward: Font: 10 pt, Italic, Indent: before:  0.2″
  15. Figure: Please use the “Figure” word in the paper and in the captioning of the paper instead of “Fig.”. The figure caption should be after each figure. Each figure should be numbered. Use the “In line with text” layout style. Alignment Centered, Font Times and New Roman, Font: 8 pt
  16. Table: Each Table of the paper should be numbered; the Caption of the Table should give above the Table. Alignment Centered, Font Times and New Roman, Font: 8 pt. A sample of the Table is given in the article template.
  17. Equation: Use Equation Editor of MS Word to insert an equation in the article. Each equation should be numbered and its numbering should be left aligned. For this purpose, insert a table 1×1, remove all borders, and in the right column insert the equation using the equations editor. You may find it by clicking on the Insert menu, then clicking on the Equation button to insert the equation.   
  18. Appendix:     Authors may use the Appendix section above but it should be above the acknowledgment section. It is an optional section. Authors may use Roman numbering for more than one appendix.
  19. Acknowledgment: It is also an optional section to give credit to the individual, and organization.
  20. References: Please use the IEEE bracket referencing style.

Copyright Notice

Authors are required to submit only original articles that were neither published previously nor submitted for publication elsewhere. The copyrights Transfer Agreement (CTA) is given below and after the acceptance of the article, the corresponding author has put the original signature on the agreement and sent its scanned copy to the journal for the record.

The corresponding author has to get permission from all the authors and co-authors of the article before sending CTA to the Journal.
